Andrea is a Founder and Managing Partner of Plus Promotion Sales, one of the leading Austrian Integrated Marketing and Sales Services agencies. Under her guidance, the agency won numerous national and international awards for clients like Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestle, Danone, Kelly, Duracell and Mars. Before starting her entrepreneurial career she worked in management positions in marketing (Henkel CEE) and advertising (Ogilvy & Mather). She is currently co-president of the Austrian Federation of Ambient Media and Promotion Agencies, Board Member of the SSI European Network and an IMC Council Member.
Marcus Wild Owner & CEO IDEAL Live Marketing
After his masters degree at the University of Vienna and a post graduate at the Int. Center for Culture and Management/ Salzburg, Marcus worked in the field of city marketing for the Chamber of Commerce, Vienna for 5 years. In 2002 he founded IDEAL Live Marketing. Nathalie Erdmanis Director Strategic Marketing & Branding AG Insurance
After finishing her Master’s Degree in Commercial Engineering at Solvay Business School (ULB) in Brussels, Nathalie started her career at Danone (dairy products) as Brand Marketer. Then, she worked for Winterthur Europe Assurances (AXA group) and later for Spa and Bru mineral water provider, Spadel s.a. She has been working for McDonald’s as Marketing & Communications Director during 7 years then she moved to the Telco industry as Marketing Director Residential at Mobistar (Orange Group). Then, she joined the Belgian Airline Company, Brussels Airlines, as VP Marketing. Now she is Director of Strategic Marketing, Branding & Data Analytics at AG Insurance (Ageas Group). During her career, Nathalie has received awards such as Nominated Marketer of the year in 2009 & 2016, Media Advertiser of the year 2009, and won a long term Silver Effie Award for McDonald’s in 2012.
Dave Froidcoeur Head of Marketing activations, CARREFOUR Belgium
Dave is an experienced Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the supermarkets industry. He’s skilled in Marketing Management, Activations, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, Trade Marketing, and Store Management. Dave has 14 years' experience as a retail and marketing specialist in Carrefour. He started his career in the stores as manager in as well food as non-food departments. After 4 years in sales he joined the concept team and worked on the marketing aspect of the renovation of the 45 Hypermarkets. 3 years later he joined the marketing team for the Hypermarkets as manager of the instore Marketing department. Since January 2018 Dave became responsible for all the Marketing Activations for the Hypermarkets (40 stores and 8500 employees). Besides running at Carrefour, Dave enjoys running as sports and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters in the lovely city of Tienen.
Tom Moons Marketing Director, SOS Children Villages
Tom Moons (39) has a degree in business science with a focus on marketing. In 2000, he started his career in advertising, working as account director for different brands like Toyota, Playstation, Inbev and Coca-Cola. In 2007, Tom became father of two adoptive children from Ethiopia. This made him decide to invest his energy in giving orphaned children a home and future, also in his professional life. End of 2009, Tom started at SOS Children’s Villages Belgium, to develop corporate fundraising and external communications. In 2013, SOS Children’s Villages Belgium won 2 golden IMC awards with their 99%-ad, a creative and successful campaign which convinced captains of industry to support the organization.
Stephan Smets Chief Communication Officer, Childfocus
Stephan is Chief Communication Officer of Child Focus, the Belgian organization for Missing and sexually exploited children. Before this, he was Managing Director and Co-founder of ENGAGE BBDO, a member agency of the BBDO Worldwide Network, specialised in brand activation and customer engagement. He started his career at Nestlé where he was responsible for instant drinks (Nescafé, Nesquik) and was later co-founder of N’lil, one of the first sales promotion agencies. He is former president of the Belgian Association of Communications Companies-Expert Center Brand Activation and is now board member of the European IMC council. Stephan Smets is a guest speaker at different marketing and advertising institutions such as the Belgian Marketing Fund, VLEKHO, Ghent University, Plato, 360° Academy and Student Marketing Congress and teaches at the UBA Academy (Federation of Belgian advertisers).
Bart Swings Brand and Marketing Communications manager, LUMINUS
With a master in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven and a DESS in Marketing at the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France, Bart started his career in the FMCG-sector with Colgate-Palmolive accumulating experience in sales and marketing as Product manager, Key Account manager and Group Product manager for brands as Tahiti, Pouss’Mousse, Palmolive, Soupline, Ajax and La Croix. In 2000, after 8 years, he moved on to mobile operator Mobistar (Orange Group) to take up roles in Trade and Channel marketing. As Head of prepaid acquisition and later Head of loyalty and retention he then returned to his marketing passion and launched in 2005 the youth brand Tempo Music, a successful collaboration with Universal Music. In 2006 he moved to the energy sector as a Marketing Communications manager for EDF Luminus. Until today he makes sure the brand Luminus takes on the role as main challenger in the liberalized energy market.

Czech Republic

David Čermák CEO Momentum / McCann
David is CEO of Momentum Prague, an advertising agency (part of McCann Worldgroup in the Czech Republic) focused on integrated campaigns supporting clients’ sales. Prior to joining Momentum in 2008, he was founder and co-owner of a leading local agency in Prague. During his 18 years in the advertising industry, he has worked for more than 100 clients from many different business sectors in the Czech Republic. David holds an Executive MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management based in Phoenix, Arizona and a MBA degree from CMI ESMA Barcelona based in Prague and Barcelona.
Ondrej Gottwald New Business Director, g-in*
Ondrej works as New Business Director at g-in* agency in Prague. He has been working in advertising for over 16 years. During his career, Ondrej worked in the creative department of TBWA Prague and of Wunderman, part of Young&Rubicam. In 2000, he co-founded the strategic and creative agency Garp, which specialises in integrated marketing and digital communication. For the first 5 years, Ondrej worked there as a Strategic Planner and has now taken over the Business Development department.

With a degree in Marketing, Aoife specialises in experiential, promotional and shopper marketing. Starting her career with Runway Marketing, she worked with clients such as Lucozade and Bulmers. Currently Account Director at Pluto, Aoife heads up a number of blue chip brands including Danone, Pladis and Unilever.
Dan Henson Head of Activation, Boys + Girls
Dan has been creating experiential and promotional ideas in the Irish and international market for almost 20 years. He began agency life creating integrated campaigns and pop up promotions for Coca-Cola, Nokia, Pot Noodle and Lynx before moving to BBDO where he worked across many brands including their Diageo and Mars portfolios. Dan moved to Boys and Girls in 2015 as Head of Activation where he continues to craft award winning experiential work for Three Mobile, Proximo, Dulux and Ulster Bank to name but a few. As the only creative on the APMC board Dan hopes to help realise and encourage the creative standard of work represented by the APMC awards.
Valerie Melinn Director, Verve
Valerie has over 20 years’ experience in Below the Line communications having worked in a variety of agencies and on client side during her career. She has worked with a variety of clients in the FMCG and Telecoms Industries including Sony PlayStation, Samsung mobile, Vodafone, KBC Bank and Heineken Ireland. She joined Verve the Live Agency as Client Services Director in 2013 in a role which sees her bring a greater synergy for clients who work who have requirements in both events and activations as well as maintaining the highest service for clients from planning to execution. Valerie has been a board member of the Association of Promotional Marketing Consultants for over 3 years and this year will serve as Chair of the Association.
Emma Ross MD, Runway
Emma has over 12 years experience in the marketing industry. Starting her career in PR and Media Relations, she worked with clients including Sony PlayStation, AIB on their sponsorship of The Ryder Cup and Centra. Emma moved to a broader marketing role in 2012, joining Runway Marketing and working with clients including Bulmers Irish Cider, Corona, Brady Family Ham and Lindt. After spending time in Verve the Live Agency, Emma returned to Runway as Managing Director in January 2017. She enjoys overseeing the management and growth of the agency in the areas of experiential, promotional and shopper marketing, as well as continuing to play a hands on role in client service. Emma is also a board member of the APMC in Ireland.
Katherine Sheils Account Director, guns or knives/Rothco
With a degree in Marketing Katherine has over 16 years’ experience in creative agencies in Ireland, UK and Australia. She has a wealth of through the line experience across a range of industries working with clients such as Coca-Cola, Heineken, Vodafone, Unilever, Oxfam and Diageo. Katherine joined the team in Rothco Accenture Interactive Dublin in February 2016. Katherine has been a board member of the Association of Promotional Marketing Consultants for 2 years.


Davide Arduini CEO, Acqua Group
Davide Arduini is a Co-Founding Partner and CEO of Acqua, a data driven group, specialized in consulting and omnichannel integrated communication. An Economics graduate, he began his career in 1995 in the marketing department at Nintendo France, then from 1996 to 2000 he was General Manager and CEO of Eureka, a commercial company of CIRM Market Research, and from 2001 until 2003 he was Commercial Director and General Manager of Centunesima of HDC Holding della Comunicazione. In 2004 he founded Acqua Group together with Andrea Cimenti. He holds the following institutional positions: Vice President of UNA (United Communication Companies), Director of Audipress, Member of the Marketing Commission of CNCC (National Council of Shopping Centres), Director of Agire (Italian Golf Real Estate Association). He speaks fluent English and French, and his interests include golf, football, Hebrew and travel.
Simone De Martini CEO, Integer/TBWA
Simone De Martini was born in Milan on January 23, 1965. In 1985 he began working as a Junior Copywriter in the Milan headquarters office of the Tonic advertising agency. In 1989, after following clients such as Hertz, Saab, Johnnie Walker and Dreher, he became head of office in Rome headquarter and responsible for the communication events managed by the agency. In September 1991 he opened Eventa, an events and promotions agency. In 1988 McCann Worldgroup acquires the majority of Eventa, which becomes Momentum Italy. Managing Director of Momentum Italy until 2010, Simone De Martini worked for clients such as: H3G, Amex, Basf, L’Orèal, Gazzetta dello Sport, Levi’s, Siemens, EBay, HP. He was part of the board of McCann WorldGroup Italia and of the Momentum Europa board. Since 2011 Simone De Martini is CEO of Integer Italia, the retail division, shopper marketing and events of TBWA Italy. Among its customers Sky, Starbucks and Ludovico Martelli.
Vincenzo Lauria Strategic Planner, Fmedia
Enzo Lauria was born in Basilicata, Southern Italy, in 1985,after high school he moves to Perusia where he attends a three -year degree course in International communication at The University for Foreigners, discussing a thesis work on narrative strategies in advertising. In 2007 he settles in Milan starting a Specialistic Degree course at the IULM university in brand management and he graduates in 2010. The job experience starts at the agency Ad2Sell as a copywriter,later in 2011 he works for the communication agency Patrini & Partners where he has both roles as Copy and Media Planner. In 2014 he attends a Web Marketing course at the Milan North Fondation and in 2018 he is chosen for a Media and Communication course promoted by the Fastweb Academy. In August 2018 he starts his adventure at the FMedia agency as Media and Strategic Planner.

Alvaro Alés Managing Director, 360º Marketing & Communications
Alvaro Ales has worked as marketer at some of the best known companies in the spirits industry until he founded a Marketing & Communications agency. For 5 years, he was in the Marketing department of Diageo, first in London working for brands such as Croft, Gonzalez Byass and later in Spain for J&B Scotch Whisky. Alvaro also worked for 4 years for Pernod Ricard where he was responsible for marketing brands such as Larios Gin, Jameson and Wild Turkey amongst others. Esther Gutierrez Marketing Manager, BODEGAS BARBADILLO
Esther was born in Seville in 1983 and have been passionate about advertising since she can remember. She graduated in Advertising and Public Relations and holds a Master's Degree in Marketing Direction and Sales Management. She has more than ten years experience in areas such as retail, fashion and beverage, this last one being where she has developed the core of her career. During this time she has made a valuable contribution to Spanish wine companies as Marqués de Riscal and Barbadillo, where she has been working for three years.
Carlos Rubio General Manager, AEACP
Carlos was born in Madrid and he has a degree in law and a diploma in marketing and commercial management, recently complemented with a master degree in digital business. He is part of the board of National Directors from the European Association (EACA) as well as member of the Executive Committee of the Association of the self-regulation of the communication business. In addition to General Manager of the AEACP Carlos Rubio deals with the management of El Sol Festival. El Festival Iberoamericano de la Comunicación Publicitaria, leading festival among Spanish and Portuguese speakers. For many years, he has collaborated continuously with numerous universities and advertising and marketing schools training attendants in these matters. Prior to joining to the Spanish Association of Advertising Agencies he developed his professional career in both public and private companies.

Mike Benns Managing Director, Toucan
Mike has worked in Promotional and Shopper Marketing for 30 years. After starting his career at British Airways and then a couple of brand activation agencies, he founded Toucan in 1991 working across multiple sectors but specialising in FMCG food and drink brands. Toucan was merged with Once Upon A Time in 2017 and Mike now heads up the Shopper Division of OUAT based in central London.
Peter Kerr Managing Director, MRM
Peter is Managing Director of Multi Resource Marketing Ltd (MRM). His career in Promotional Marketing goes back to the early 80's and he has a rare combination of experience having spent this time working within client, agency and fulfillment organisations. He founded MRM in 1993 and has only recently led this organisation into the HighCo Group where he hopes to fulfill his long held ambition of creating with HighCo a truly European capability across a wide range of promotional marketing techniques and logistics. Peter has sat on the EACA judging panel before as well as being an IPM Awards panel chairman each year, he is also an IPM Diploma examiner for the IPM Education panel. In addition our annual awards were recovered from Haymarket and successfully re-branded year on year and, to bridge the gap in our marketing press coverage, took control of Sales Promotion magazine and with the services sector very much in mind Peter introduced the ISP Certificate, the “Making it Happen awards” (now COGS) and was instrumental in the ARM accreditation scheme.
Marcus Sandwith CEO Haygarth
Marcus has 19 years' experience as a retail and brand marketing specialist. His broad range of experience includes working on clients such as Nokia, Tesco, BBC, Reckitt Benckiser and S.C. Johnson. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO at Haygarth, Marcus oversees the agency’s financial planning, new business development and is key in maintaining the overall culture of the agency. When Marcus isn’t running Haygarth, he is a family man with three kids and lives in London.
